Overview
I led a nationally recognized Main Street program for 8 years at Mt. Airy CDC in Northwest Philadelphia. During that time, I helped revitalize the historic Germantown Avenue commercial corridor, aligning public, private, and community partners to enhance local commerce and public life.
My work laid the foundation for long-term transformation- aligning physical improvements, economic development strategy, brand identity building, and organizational development. The Main Street program served as the central platform from which additional projects and partnerships grew.
Featured Projects
Business Improvement District Launch & Leadership
Guided the successful launch of the Mt. Airy BID, aligning stakeholders, building support, and designing a sustainable service model. Later served as the BID's Executive Director, managing programming, business services, and operations for long-term district health and vitality.
Façade Improvement Program
As part of a comprehensive revitalization effort, I developed and oversaw a façade improvement program supporting over 50 commercial storefront renovations. By aligning funding from city, state, and private sources, I created a streamlined, visually impactful approach. The program emphasized contextual design, business visibility, and pedestrian appeal—driving economic activity and community pride.

Oversaw the design and implementation of a $3.5 million PennDOT-funded streetscape project. Improvements included new lighting, landscaping, pedestrian amenities, ADA upgrades, sidewalk restoration, and intersection redesign to enhance accessibility, safety, and corridor appeal.

Lovett Park
A community-driven redesign that transformed a vacant lot into a vibrant public space—blending placemaking, stakeholder collaboration, and corridor revitalization.
I led the transformation of Lovett Park from concept through activation—facilitating a collaborative design process, aligning city, institutional, and community partners, and shaping a space that reflected the neighborhood’s identity and needs
GoMtAiry Branding & Business Association
Summary
I created and launched the Go Mt. Airy branding initiative and the Business Association of Mt. Airy to unify the corridor’s identity, support small businesses, and sustain long-term commercial district management. The Business Association had a fee-based operating structure with tiered memberships and marketing benefits centered around a destination website, promotions and campaigns that elevated local visibility.
