Summary

I helped shape strategy and secure funding for The Oval, a seasonal pop-up park designed to activate a highly visible but underutilized space at Eakins Oval on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Working with city leadership, nonprofit partners, and the project’s landscape architects, I supported stakeholder engagement, sponsor activation, and experience planning—helping ensure that the design and programming reflected a welcoming, playful, and well-used civic space.

In addition to creating a beautiful, active, and engaging temporary park space, in 2017 we collected a body of data that helped us better understand the Oval’s audience, what they’re interested in, and what they’d like to see.
